PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AGAINST THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In order to avoid any possible chance to contract the COVID-19 disease, please respect the following rules.
- If you have any symptoms of fever, cough or influenza, refrain from entering the garden.
- Have correct hygienic behaviors: wash your hands, use the provided disinfectant spray, and cough into your elbow or your fabric handkerchief or single-use paper tissue.
- Respect the social distance with other visitors, and refrain from gathering in large, clustered crowds and talking out loud.
Travel Time to Korakuen
- By foot from JR Okayama Station: about 25 minutes.
Walk down from Okayama Station along Momotarō Avenue straight to Ishiyama Park, than turn left to cross the Asahi River on Tsurumi Bridge. - By bus from JR Okayama Station: about 12 minutes.
Take the Okaden bus line 18 bound for “Fujiwara Danchi” from bus terminal platform 1 and get off at “Korakuen-mae” stop.

Take the Okaden streetcar bound for “Higashiyama” from “Okayama-eki-mae” stop and get off at “Shiroshita” stop, then turn left on Shiroshita Avenue and Korakuen Avenue to cross the Asahi River on Tsurumi Bridge (entrance at Main Gate of Korakuen), or walk straight to Ishiyama Park and cross the Asahi River on Tsukimi Bridge (entrance at South Gate of Korakuen).
